Bi- Weekly- Wednesday- 35$/hr Position: Desktop Technician (as back up) PThis position serves as the first and second level point of contact for customer issues, providing timely resolution and communication on issue status. It involves collaborating with third-party vendors to address complex audio/visual problems, maintaining accurate ticket records, and supporting the installation, upgrade, and troubleshooting of Windows XP through Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2010, Cisco Jabber, and other authorized desktop applications. The role also requires basic knowledge of macOS to assist Apple PC users, as well as the ability to install, maintain, and repair printers, computer hardware, and peripheral devices. Responsibilities include performing routine preventative maintenance, using diagnostic tools to resolve network and workstation issues, and demonstrating a broad understanding of IT systems including networks, servers, audio/visual equipment, smart devices, and telecommunications. The position requires the ability to work effectively in a project-based environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
