If you enjoy solving technical problems, supporting continuous improvement, and working close to production teams, this is a fantastic opportunity to apply your expertise in one of the UK's most advanced aerospace facilities.You'll play a key role in keeping production moving smoothly by resolving technical issues, supporting shop-floor teams, and contributing to operational excellence.What You'll Be DoingAs a Technical Support Engineer, you'll provide vital lineside support to ensure aircraft production runs efficiently and safely. Your responsibilities will include:Daily Shop-Floor & Lineside Support

  • Providing hands-on technical support to resolve issues such as missing parts, non-conformities, concessions, outstanding work and tooling matters.
  • Supporting work-order management, including out-of-cycle tasks and identifying blocked work orders.
  • Escalating issues to specialist teams (Work Prep, PPE, Maintenance, MAP and Outstanding Work) when required.

Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence

  • Contributing to lean initiatives and helping identify opportunities to eliminate waste and improve shop-floor processes.
  • Supporting analysis of industrial systems and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Quality, Safety & Logistics Support

  • Helping ensure production and quality standards are maintained at all stations.
  • Supporting the communication and application of EH&S rules and identifying near-misses.
  • Assisting with the prioritisation of materials linked to rework orders.

Tools, Jigs & Asset Support

  • Assisting in creation or modification requests for new tools, jigs and small tooling repairs.

What We're Looking For

This role is ideal for someone with strong practical engineering experience and a passion for problem-solving.Essential Experience

  • Hands-on experience in a manufacturing, aviation, production or lineside environment.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, engineering methods and technical issue resolution.
  • A systematic, organised approach with excellent analytical and practical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
