MGR Workforce is hiring Technicians for a leading electronics manufacturing client in Houston, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with manufacturing experience or a technical background who are looking to build their careers in a fast-paced production environment.
Technicians are responsible for supporting the production process by performing product testing, basic quality inspections, inventory tracking, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable using computers and testing equipment, and able to follow technical work instructions accurately.
Job Requirement: Basic spoken and written Mandarin proficiency is strongly preferred because the Technicians may need to read and understand Mandarin-language work instructions, production documents, and safety materials necessary to perform the essential functions of the job safely and accurately. The position also utilizes routine communication regarding production activities and safety.
Responsibilities
Perform assembly, testing, and inspection of electronic products and components.
Conduct basic quality checks to identify physical defects, faulty connections, or other product issues.
Use testing equipment such as digital multimeters and automated test systems.
Run software-based product tests and accurately record test results.
Log inventory movements and production data using inventory management software and spreadsheets.
Route defective products to the appropriate rework station following established procedures.
Read and follow technical work instructions, visual diagrams, and safety procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all company safety policies, production procedures, and quality standards.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment or a basic technical certification.
Read and follow technical work instructions, visual diagrams, and safety procedures, including documentation provided in Mandarin.
Previous experience in electronics manufacturing is an asset but not required.
Intermediate computer skills with the ability to use inventory management software, diagnostic interfaces, and spreadsheets.
Experience using basic testing equipment such as digital multimeters or automated testing systems.
Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
Candidates with experience or education in electrical, mechanical, or programming are strongly preferred.
