Overview

A temporary opportunity for an experienced content specialist to support a large-scale website project. The role involves reviewing, editing, and creating web content to ensure consistency, accessibility, and clarity.

Contract Details

• Duration: 3 months (with possible extension)
• Location: Galway (onsite initially with potential for blended working)
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday)

Key Responsibilities

• Review, rewrite and create website content
• Ensure content is clear, consistent and user-focused
• Apply plain English and accessibility standards
• Upload and format content within WordPress
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners
• Incorporate stakeholder feedback effectively

Requirements

• Proven web content writing/editing experience
• Strong understanding of plain English and digital accessibility
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Comfortable working with technical or complex content
• Strong IT skills (Microsoft 365 tools)
• Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced project environment
