Job Description

We are seeking an Engineering Technician to join our team, supporting engineering R&D projects with a wide range of development testing activities. This role involves close collaboration with small technical teams and the creation and modification of technical documentation and reports.

Responsibilities

• Supporting in-house engineering R&D teams with various tasks such as, but not limited to:
  • Laboratory and development testing: including design, set up and operation of testing of both a mechanical and electronic nature. This will include development of testing apparatus and procedures.
  • Data collection and processing using excel (essential) and python (desirable)
  • Reporting out of test results to the team.
  • Proactively devising new tests based on results already obtained

Essential Skills

• Engineering verification and validation
• Data collection using excel
• Understanding of apparatus such as oscilloscopes, data loggers
• Workshop skill - basic power tools, hand tools.
• Working in a engineering environment and familiarity with creating test documentation including plans and results reports.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Basic 3D CAD skills.
• Familiarity with Python for data processing is desirable.
• Adruinos/Raspberry Pi
