This is a *Hybrid* based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Technology Client that is working to *deliver accurate financial data into SAP and other finance systems*

Overview

Our client is looking for a Tester (Automation) to support a data engineering team responsible for delivering accurate financial data into SAP and other finance systems.

You will work closely with data engineers, Back End engineers, product managers and finance stakeholders to ensure the quality and reliability of data pipelines, APIs and Back End services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement testing strategies for data pipelines and APIs

• Validate financial data flowing into SAP and reporting platforms

• Perform schema validation, data reconciliation and transformation checks

• Develop and maintain automated tests for data systems

• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines

• Write SQL queries to investigate and validate data issues

• Support monitoring and observability to detect data quality issues early

• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as SOX and GDPR

Technical Environment

• AWS

• Docker & Kubernetes

• Git & CI/CD pipelines

• Microsoft SQL Server

• Data pipelines/ETL systems

Required Experience

• Experience testing data platforms, APIs or Back End systems

• Strong SQL skills for data validation

• Experience with automation frameworks and CI/CD

• Understanding of data quality and testing strategies

Desirable

• Experience with SAP financial data integrations

• Knowledge of regulated environments (SOX/GDPR)

• Experience with data migration or Legacy system projects

Interview Process

1-stage technical interview covering data testing, SQL validation, automation and quality engineering practices.
