Trade Surveillance Analyst - International Compliance 6 Month Contract - Inside IR35 - £350-£450 per day

London (Hybrid)

Salary/Day Rate: £350-£450 per day

Role Overview:

An international electronic trading firm is seeking a Trade Surveillance Analyst to join its Compliance team in London. The role focuses on alert disposition and case management across RFQ (US) and CLOB (EU), supporting Fixed Income, equity derivatives, and repos.

Responsibilities Include -

Reviewing and escalating daily SMARTS alerts

Managing cases through to regulatory submission

Supporting alert calibration, scenario tuning, and dashboard reporting

Providing feedback on processes to enhance surveillance effectiveness

Key Skills:

SMARTS alert disposition experience

Fixed Income knowledge (bonds, credit derivatives, interest rate derivatives

Understanding of market abuse typologies and relevant regulations

Tableau experience (dashboard build/analysis)

Strong verbal and written communication

Python/SQL advantageous but not required
