Position Overview: The Treasury Support Specialist supports the Treasury Management team by assisting with client onboarding, business account setup, and ongoing service support for treasury products. This entry-level role works closely with Treasury Officers and internal teams to help ensure smooth onboarding experience for new clients and provide responsive support for treasury services. The Associate will develop knowledge of treasury products and banking systems while assisting clients with basic training, troubleshooting, and service requests.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Account Opening & Documentation
Assist with opening and maintaining business accounts in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and review account documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Work with internal departments to resolve documentation questions and support timely account setup.
Client Onboarding & Training
Support Treasury Officers with onboarding calls and follow-up tasks for new clients.
Assist with implementation of treasury management products and services.
Provide basic training and guidance to clients on treasury platforms and tools.
Project Support
Assist with departmental and cross-functional initiatives that improve processes, systems, and client experience.
Provide feedback and support for treasury product updates and internal process improvements.
Client Support
Respond to client inquiries related to treasury services via phone or email.
Troubleshoot basic client issues and escalate more complex concerns as needed.
Maintain a professional and responsive approach in all client interactions.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required
1+ year of experience in banking, financial services, or customer service.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to learn new banking systems and treasury platforms.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
Exposure to business banking or treasury services.
Familiarity with business accounts or financial documentation.
Interest in developing a career in treasury management or commercial banking.
