UI/UX Specialist - Audit - 6 months - London (1 day/Office) - Inside IR35

We're recruiting for a UI/UX Specialist to join the Innovation & Deployment team within Audit Technology at a Big 4 professional services firm, designing user interfaces and experiences for technology-driven, AI-enabled audit tools. This role bridges complex machine learning outputs with human usability and trust, ensuring features are intuitive, explainable, and seamlessly Embedded into audit workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the value proposition, strategy, and roadmap for the product/family of products
• Design and prototype user interfaces for technology-enabled audit applications that are accessible, user-friendly, and aligned to user needs
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to visualise and communicate model outputs effectively to users
• Embed explainability, transparency, and trust into design principles for AI/ML predictions and decision support tools
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback analysis to iterate on UI components
• Design micro-interactions, dashboards, and visual cues that help users understand confidence scores, risks, and recommendations

What You Will Ideally Bring:

• Audit Product Lifecycle and domain experience
• Experience designing for data-rich, technical, or AI-driven digital products in enterprise or regulated environments
• Strong understanding of human-AI interaction patterns, model explainability, and trust-building UI techniques
• Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
• Familiarity with Front End technologies and agile product teams
• Excellent visual design and information architecture skills, with the ability to simplify complex systems
• Ability to design user-centric solutions that respond to genuine user needs

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months
• Rate: £400-420 day - Inside IR35
• Location: Watford/London (1 Day onsite)
• Start Date: ASAP
