Job Details Job Details: As a Consulting Unified Communication Technician, you will be the linchpin for our Tech Services operations, ensuring seamless communication across various platforms. This role is a perfect fit for those passionate about telecom and unified communications, with a knack for troubleshooting and problem-solving. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our telecom infrastructure, addressing incidents, and ensuring smooth and uninterrupted communication services for our clients. Responsibilities: 1. Manage and maintain our Cisco Unified Communications infrastructure, including Jabber and other associated platforms. 2. Troubleshoot VoIP systems, Analog Phones, Printers, and layer 1 Networks to ensure seamless operations. 3. Install, change, troubleshoot, and repair client services encompassing video, data, and telephone to ensure uninterrupted connectivity. 4. Install CAT5e/CAT6, fiber, and coaxial cables, routing them efficiently from various locations to meet client demands. 5. Work closely with the team to address incidents and resolve them in a timely manner. 6. Leverage knowledge of LAN/WAN Technologies, TCP/IP/QoS/PoE/VLANs/VoIP to enhance our telecom infrastructure. 7. Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members as required. 8. Be available for occasional night and weekend shifts as needed. Qualifications: 1. College degree or technical certification training in a relevant field is preferred. 2. A minimum of 5 years of telecommunications installation/maintenance experience is required. 3. Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting VoIP systems, Analog Phones, Printers, and layer 1 Networks. 4. Proficient in installing CAT5e/CAT6, fiber, and coaxial cables. 5. Experience with Cisco Unified Communications, Jabber, and other associated platforms. 6. Solid understanding of LAN/WAN Technologies, TCP/IP/QoS/PoE/VLANs/VoIP. 7. Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems. 8. Ability to troubleshoot network and VoIP related issues. 9. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 10. Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends as needed. 11. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. 12. A team player with a client-focused attitude.
