User Researcher, Hybrid, £500-£550 Inside IR35

USER RESEARCHER - 6 months CONTRACT - RATES £500 TO £550 PD INSIDE - BPSS - HYBRID WITH 2 DAYS ON SITE IN EITHER BRISTOL/MANCHESTER/LONDON

Candidates would also be expected to attend infrequent away days, once a month or every two months. These days rotate across Bristol, London and Manchester, so the candidates must be happy to travel to these sites as required

Role

Plan and conduct user research to understand how people experience digital services, with a focus on digital inclusion and accessibility barriers

Design and run appropriate research activities to answer clear research questions

Analyse and synthesise research findings

Communicate research findings to service teams and senior stakeholders

Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to inform service design, policy or guidance

Skills -

Understanding of how public sector digital teams work is crucial

Background in Digital Accessibility and Inclusion

Must also be able to confidently communicate with a team who may not understand research principles

Understanding of Agile, including ways of working and frameworks

Understanding of concepts of Web Contact Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
