Salary: £350 per day - Outside IR35
Standard hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm 

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Veritas NetBackup Consultant to modernise and optimise a Legacy enterprise backup environment.

This engagement will focus on migrating from NetApp storage to newly deployed Dell Data Domain appliances, implementing recommendations from a recent NetBackup assessment, and improving overall backup performance, resilience, and recoverability.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate Dell Data Domain appliances with NetBackup
• Migrate from Legacy NetApp backup storage
• Configure and optimise DDBoost
• Rationalise backup policies and Storage Lifecycle Policies (SLPs)
• Migrate VMware workloads to agentless backups
• Improve retention, replication, and recovery processes
• Implement cyber resilience and immutability controls
• Perform testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer

• Veritas NetBackup experience
• Strong Dell Data Domain and DDBoost experience
• NetBackup architecture, administration, and troubleshooting
• VMware backup design and implementation
• SLP and replication design
• Backup migration and remediation project experience

• MSDP/PureDisk migration experience
• AIR replication
• Cyber recovery and immutable backup solutions
• Veritas and/or Dell certifications
