On behalf of UMG, we are looking for a Web Developer (.NET, Backend) for a 6 month contract based remotely in the UK.

How we LEAD:

We are looking for an experienced mid-level .NET Backend Developer to lead the design and delivery of a scalable Back End for a new project. This role will play a critical part in shaping the Back End architecture, setting development standards and delivering a high-quality, production-ready solution.

Collaborating with product, Front End and infrastructure teams, the Web Developer will take ownership of Back End systems from design through to deployment. This is a hands-on role suited to someone comfortable making architectural decisions and driving technical best practices.

How you'll CREATE:

• Design, develop and maintain scalable Back End applications using .NET technologies.
• Lead the delivery of Back End solutions for new projects, ensuring they are robust, secure and production-ready.
• Build and support APIs and integrations.
• Contribute to Back End architecture decisions and help establish development standards and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders for example, Frontend Developer, throughout the development life cycle.
• Take ownership of Back End systems from initial design through to deployment and ongoing support.

Bring your VIBE:

• Proven experience in Back End development using .NET technologies.
• Strong experience developing and integrating APIs.
• Good understanding of database design, development and query optimisation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently from a brief and effectively manage personal workload.
• Holding 6+ years experience in .NET development.

Desirable skills include:

• Some full-stack development experience and/or experience using React.
