Job Title : Welder (NOC 72106) Vacancies : 2 position available Terms of Employment : Full time and permanent Office Location : Unit # Ave, Surrey, BC, V3W 3J7 Yard and Job Location : Avenue, Surrey, BC, V3S 9V2 Wages : CAD $37.50 per hour on the basis of 35-40 hrs Full time work Job requirements Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience 3 years to less than 5 years Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Fast-paced environment, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Sitting, Standing for extended periods Personal Suitability Organized, Flexibility, Team player Additional Skills Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications Specific Skills Interpret welding process specifications. Determine weldability of materials. Operate previous welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products. Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding. Performing welding related repairs on the chassis, trucks and trailers. Examine the equipment after welding and advise maintenance of defects. Plan/set up of welding operations accordingly. Maintains responsibility for all tools and equipment. Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps. Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws. Weight Handling Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) Other Benefits: 1) We will provide $650 as a joining bonus to our newly hired employees. 2) We will provide $600 Attendance bonus. 3) We will provide relocation allowance of $1050 to the candidates who are willing to move to Surrey, BC. 4) We will provide $700 as a Safety bonus to our employees to motivate them and to ensure that they are following all our safety protocols.
