Wet and Dry Chemical Compounder

Pay Range: $20.00 $25.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits Day Shift (Monday Friday, 7:30 AM 3:30 PM) Manufacture seeking a detail-oriented Wet and Dry Chemical Compounder for a premier manufacturing facility in Bedford, Ohio. The ideal candidate would have previous experience accurately mixing and producing materials according to precise formulas and strict safety protocols. Key Responsibilities Batching & Mixing: Weigh, measure, and mix raw materials (wet and dry) in the proper sequence to produce high-quality finished products. Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of materials and production details using batch record tracking systems. Quality Control: Conduct in-process checks and spot-checks of ingredients to ensure adherence to specifications. Equipment Operation: Operate and sanitize compounding equipment, including extruders and blending machinery. Material Handling: Safely move materials, load/unload containers, and maintain an organized work cell. Safety: Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear required PPE when working with irritant chemicals. Skills & Requirements Education: High School Diploma, GED, and / or Higher Level of Education Forklift Certification and basic computer skills are a plus Experience: Previous Tow Motor (forklift) experience is required Technical Aptitude: Ability to read/understand specifications and use measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, scales) Mathematical Skills: Proficient in basic math, fractions, decimals, ratios, and percentages Physical Ability: Must be able to stand/walk for the full shift and frequently lift 50 lbs. (occasionally up to 150 lbs. with assistance) Traits: Strong attention to detail, punctual, and a desire to cross-train Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
