Workday Product Architect

Location: London (Hybrid - 40% onsite/approximately 2 days per week)

Alternative Locations: Leeds, Edinburgh, or Aberdeen may be considered for exceptional candidates who can attend the local office as required.

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Day Rate: £TBC via Umbrella company

Security Clearance: Candidates must be eligible for Security Clearance.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workday Product Architect to lead and manage the technical architecture of a complex Workday ecosystem within a large-scale enterprise environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work across HR, Finance, and Technology functions while driving the strategic evolution of Workday products and integrations.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Product Architect or Platform Architect
  • Strong expertise across the Workday suite, including:
    • HCM
    • Core Finance
    • Studio Integrations
    • Adaptive Planning
    • Workday Extend
    • Workday Prism Analytics
  • Experience working within Agile and DevSecOps environments
  • Understanding of SaaS and Low-Code/No-Code platforms
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience with ERP platforms and related enterprise systems

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the technical architecture of the FCA's Workday ecosystem, including Peakon, Adaptive, Extend, and Prism.
  • Oversee approximately 40-50 integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems.
  • Support and enhance Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML) processes and associated workflows.
  • Report directly to the Workday Product Group Owner.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders across HR, Finance, and Technology functions.
  • Work closely with internal DevSecOps teams, third-party suppliers, and Workday support teams to ensure successful delivery and ongoing platform optimisation.
  • Provide architectural guidance, governance, and technical leadership across the Workday landscape.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Proven track record of delivering enterprise-wide Workday initiatives.
