About Our Client:

Our client is a mission-driven organization in the healthcare space focused on providing high-quality mental health and therapy services. They are seeking an experienced HR professional to support their team during a maternity leave. This is a highly collaborative, fast-paced, and employee-focused workplace with a strong possibility for this role to convert to permanent employment.

Job Description:

This role functions similarly to an HR Generalist, focusing on leave administration, employee communications, and HR operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a compassionate, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage FMLA, ADA, and other leave/accommodation requests
Act as the main point of contact for employees needing leave or accommodations
Support employee communications related to HR programs and benefits
Maintain accurate records in HRIS (Paycor experience a plus)
Respond to employee questions through the central HR inbox
Coordinate with payroll on compensation and benefits updates
Manage injury documentation and workers compensation cases
Assist with compliance reporting (OSHA, ACA, etc.)
Prepare HR reports and support internal surveys and performance processes
Handle employment verifications and third-party documentation

Qualifications:

4+ years of HR experience; at least 2 in a generalist or specialist role
Hands-on experience with leave administration and accommodations
High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Familiarity with HRIS systems (open to training on new platforms)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Empathetic, team-focused mindset with a “pitch in” attitude
