About Our Client:

Addison Group is partnering with a leading architecture and design firm in Chicago to find an experienced Contract Recruiter. This dynamic and creative organization is focused on innovation, sustainability, and community impact. They're looking for a recruiter who not only understands the art of talent acquisition but is also well-versed in the unique hiring needs of the architecture and design industry.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will be a confident and resourceful recruiter with 4+ years of experience and a strong understanding of architecture and design hiring trends. You’ll play a critical role in managing a high-volume requisition load, refining hiring strategies, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage 10–30 open requisitions concurrently using Workday, contributing to the hiring of over 200 full-time employees.
Evaluate and refine recruiting spend across architecture-specific job boards, advertising channels, and networking events, resulting in cost savings of up to 30%.
Collaborate with firm leadership to create and lead engaging onboarding sessions that reinforce company culture, values, and operations.
Coach hiring managers on performance management best practices, boosting employee engagement and retention.
Provide HR operations support by approving job reqs and generating data-driven reports in Workday.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years of recruiting experience, with direct experience in architecture, design, or a creative services environment.
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (Workday strongly preferred).
Strong relationship-builder with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
Deep understanding of recruiting best practices, employer branding, and delivering exceptional candidate experiences.

Additional Details:

Contract role: 3+ months, with potential for extension.
Competitive hourly pay, commensurate with experience.
Must be based in or able to work onsite in Chicago as needed.
