What You’ll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external customers, responding to inquiries within 24 hours.
- Process customer purchase orders, sales quotes, samples, credits, and return requests.
- Manage customer escalations, ensuring prompt and positive resolutions.
- Use Salesforce to track projects, new business opportunities, and sales follow-ups.
- Support the commercial team with quotes, sample requests, and occasional customer visits.
- Collaborate with a tight-knit team to maintain a high standard of customer service.
- Participate in meetings to drive customer experience improvements.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 2+ years in customer service or inside sales within a manufacturing environment (plastics preferred, e.g., Amcor, Berry Global, Silgan, Pretium Packaging).
- Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college/technical school, or 1+ year of relevant manufacturing experience.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Salesforce.
- Strong verbal and written communication for customer and stakeholder interactions.
- High sense of urgency, flexibility, and problem-solving skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with a genuine willingness to help others.
- Preferred Background: Experience in B2B customer service within plastics or packaging industries.
