Job Description:
We are seeking an entry-level Chemist I to join our Bulk Reagent Formulation team within the manufacturing division. This role is ideal for recent graduates with academic lab experience and a strong foundation in chemistry. The Chemist I will be responsible for preparing reagents, testing antibodies and antigens, and supporting quality processes in a GMP-regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare reagents for ELISA, calibrators, and controls.
- Purify antibodies and test various biomolecules.
- Perform standard wet bench techniques (e.g., titrations, pH measurements).
- Interact and collaborate with Quality Control and Quality Assurance teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation including batch records and SOPs.
- Support compliance with GMP standards and internal protocols.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree with 1–2 years of laboratory experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related science field (fresh graduates welcome).
- Familiarity with laboratory instruments and techniques, including pH meters, titrations, and general wet chemistry.
- Basic understanding of analytical methods and documentation standards.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing or medical device environment.
- Prior exposure to GMP practices and quality systems.
- Demonstrated leadership and strong written documentation skills.
