Transaction Manager

Location: London (Hybrid)
Contract Type: 6 months FTC (Potential to be extended)

We are seeking a Transaction Manager to join our EMEA Transaction Management Group within the Corporate Trust team. This role is pivotal in managing complex debt capital market transactions from initiation through to closing.

Key Responsibilities:

Transaction Review: analyse and review highly complex specialised debt capital market transactions aligned with business or product segments.
Liaison and Negotiation: Serve as a key point of contact with external counsel and lead negotiations regarding transaction structures in collaboration with Client & Business Development.
Documentation Oversight: Act as the primary contact for both internal and external parties on new and existing transactions, ensuring all operational and documentation standards are met and risks are mitigated.
Subject Matter Expertise: Provide insights as a country specialist, keeping the team informed about market trends, competitor activity, and evolving regulations related to specific products and regions.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

Experience in Corporate Trust and/or debt capital markets.
Proven ability to manage tight deadlines and navigate complex internal and external relationships in a high-pressure environment.
Innovative problem-solving skills, particularly in proposing complex legal and commercial solutions to uphold enterprise documentation standards.
Strong lateral thinking capabilities, complemented by excellent communication skills for negotiation and influence at various organisational levels.
A resourceful mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
