About the Role:
We are working with a leading organisation in the retail sector, looking for an IT Director to join their team in Dublin. This hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 days remote) offers a unique opportunity to lead IT operations, manage key infrastructure projects, and drive digital transformation initiatives.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in an IT leadership role, ideally within the retail or hospitality sectors.
- Strong technical background in IT infrastructure, operations, and service delivery (experience with ERP and POS systems is preferred).
- Demonstrated success in managing teams, overseeing IT operations, and delivering key projects.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment with a focus on speed and efficiency.
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives, including mobile apps, loyalty programs, and kiosks.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior management and non-IT stakeholders.
- Self-starter with a hands-on approach to both strategic and operational matters.
- Familiarity with Microsoft-based IT environments and cloud technologies.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, including to the UK as required.
