Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Credentialing Admin Support specialist to assist during their busy season. This is a remote contract role running from July through the end of September. The ideal candidate will bring experience in provider-side credentialing support, be comfortable navigating digital platforms like Zendesk and CredentialStream, and excel in high-volume administrative environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the credentialing inbox via Zendesk
Respond to provider and recruiter inquiries
Follow up on recredentialing tickets and expirables in CredentialStream
Conduct email and call campaigns to ensure timely provider recredentialing
Request and track missing documentation
Assist in credentialing workflows by monitoring CS continuously
Handle high volumes of credentialing tasks and communication with professionalism

Qualifications:

3–5 years of provider-side credentialing experience (payor-side experience not considered)
Prior experience using digital platforms such as Zendesk and CredentialStream
Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent grammar required
High attention to detail in fast-paced, heads-down work environments
Comfortable making outbound calls to providers for documentation follow-up

Additional Details:

Assignment Type: Contract (July – September)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Equipment Provided: Yes
Drug Screen/Background Check: Required
Software Used: CredentialStream, Zendesk
