Data Center Technician

A large Data Center in Trenton, SC is hiring multiple Data Center Technicians to join the team for a great long term opportunity!

Job Duties:

Pulling cable, pulling innerduct, dressing cables, labeling, fiber cleaning, etc. to industry and customer standards.
Carry and load materials to be used on the job.
Fiber and Telecom installation knowledge and experience - Fiber, Cat5, Cat6
Must be willing to work both outside and inside during the summer and winter months.
Wash and clean vehicles and equipment.
This is physical work, up and down ladders, putting together server cabinets, and cabling, etc.

Qualifications:

1-2 years of prior IT related experience with previous Data Center/Cabling exp being a plus.
Willing to look at candidates with no cabling experience who want to get into the trade as they are willing to train.
Prefer Cabling experience ( coax, fiber, cat5, cat6, punch downs, etc.) but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Need to have a strong work ethic.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
