Software Quality Assurance Specialist - St. Louis, MO
Position Overview
LHH is currently conducting a Direct Hire search for a Software Quality Assurance Specialist in St. Louis, MO. This role focuses on enhancing the reliability and performance of software systems through rigorous manual testing and collaboration with developers and subject matter experts.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct testing across a variety of software components to ensure quality and functionality.
Prioritize tasks based on risk and impact to overall software performance.
Work closely with developers and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues.
Perform user interface and functional testing on web, mobile, and tablet platforms.
Execute system integration testing for backend services and data flows.
Write and run SQL queries for data validation.
Use defect-tracking tools to report and manage issues.
Create and manually execute test cases and scripts.
Perform exploratory testing in the absence of formal documentation.
Apply QA best practices to improve processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in manual software testing and quality assurance.
Strong background in UI and functional testing across multiple platforms.
Experience with backend integration testing and SQL-based data checks.
Familiarity with defect tracking systems and manual test execution.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Strong problem-solving skills and accountability for meeting deadlines.

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
