Interim Program Manager (Governance & Strategic Delivery)

📍 Location: Amsterdam | 💼 Full-time | Freelance or Employed Contractor Model (Detacheren)

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving complex, cross-functional programs? For a global client we are looking for a Program Manager to lead end-to-end delivery across multiple workstreams and portfolios. The role is based in Amsterdam and starting in August.

What You'll Do

Own the governance and execution of high-impact programs from scoping to implementation.
Partner with internal teams and external business units to align priorities and facilitate collaboration.
Drive business case creation and ensure consistent workload management across functions.
Identify and manage dependencies to minimize risks and ensure smooth delivery.
Lead planning and roadmap development focused on strategic objectives and key milestones.
Engage with senior stakeholders (up to VP level) to support decision-making and prioritization.

What You Bring

Must-Have Skills:

Proven experience in project and process management, including multi-step approval coordination.
Proficiency with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills across tech, legal, risk, compliance, and privacy teams.
Excellent communication for onboarding use-cases and driving consensus on risk mitigation.
Detail-oriented documentation and traceability aligned with audit and governance standards.

Nice to Have:

Understanding of data governance, privacy by design, and compliance frameworks (e.g., DMA).
Experience coordinating across risk and architecture teams to support secure data sharing initiatives.
