Title: Instructional Designer - A

Location: Saint Paul, MN

Duration: 5 Month

As an Instructional Designer, you will use adult instructional design principles and processes to support Abbott Vascular internal and external learning programs.

Qualifications:

2 to 4 years of training/instructional design.
Experience utilizing these types of programs: iSpring Suite, PowerPoint, Articulate Rise and Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience working in a regulated environment, preferably medical device or healthcare.
Self-motivated, self-directed and self-learner; comfortable with prioritizing, establishing objectives and processes, and working to achieve them.
Highly organized, capable of managing project status on multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to establish and maintain effective, collaborative working relationships.

Education:

BA/BS required.

Responsibilities:

Creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content
Working with subject matter experts to identify learner training needs and content.
Creating and maintaining a library of clinical case examples from video and presentation materials
Setting instructional end goals and creating content that matches them.
Visualizing and creating instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product
Creating supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, games etc.)

Excellent project management capabilities, strong communication skills, strong conceptual abilities, and strong team orientation.
