Addison Group is partnering with a well-established organization in the manufacturing and distribution space to hire an experienced HR Generalist. This company operates in a fast-paced environment and is seeking an HR professional who thrives working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Job Description:
The HR Generalist will serve as a key resource for employee relations and HR support across multiple departments including Supply Chain, Transportation, and Continuous Improvement. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of driving results in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the go-to HR contact for multiple operational teams, offering daily support and guidance
- Manage employee relations matters in line with company policy and compliance standards
- Partner with leaders on performance management, including reviews, coaching, and PIPs
- Support onboarding/offboarding processes, disciplinary tracking, and LOA coordination
- Help facilitate recruitment activities: job postings, interview coordination, and candidate outreach
- Lead new hire orientation and onboarding experiences
- Ensure HRIS updates and documentation are timely and accurate (experience with Dayforce is a plus)
- Conduct routine audits of employee data and assist with HR reporting needs
- Stay updated on employment law changes to ensure compliance across business units
- Contribute to culture and engagement initiatives to enhance employee experience
Qualifications:
- 5–12 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years as an HR Generalist
- Prior experience in Manufacturing, Distribution, Supply Chain, or Transportation is required
- Familiarity with HRIS systems; iCIMS and Dayforce preferred but not required
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, self-directed work style
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
