Description:
This is a non-exempt position. The Graphic Designer is responsible for the development of visual solutions for Abbott’s Toxicology US Workplace. This includes the design of marketing collateral, tradeshow graphics, digital applications, website graphics, etc. The graphic designer adheres to the Abbott brand standards, meeting internal stakeholder requirements, and executing best-in-class deliverables.
Duties:
- Participate in project scoping discussions with internal stakeholders.
- Gather and be able to interpret project design requirements in alignment with brand standards.
- Drive the development of graphic design materials that support projects.
- Balance multiple projects and stakeholders while ensuring quality and deadlines.
- Ensure accuracy by understanding and applying the master brand guidelines, creative process, and internal proofing.
Qualifications:
- At least five years of experience working within an internal or external creative agency.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts or related field.
- At least four years of experience leading the design of projects from concept to completion.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to concept and execute ideas.
- Strong organizational, management, and presentation skills.
- High level of proficiency in corporate branding guidelines.
- Able to integrate the big idea through all media.
- Intermediate to Expert experience with Mac iOS environment, Adobe Creative Suite software, and Microsoft Office 365 software.
- Experience with ActOn or other similar marketing email platforms a plus.
