Communications Specialist
32-40 hours/week | Communications | Aerospace & High-Tech Sector | Start: 01-09-2026 | Duration: 6 months

Are you a communications professional with a passion for technology and innovation? We're looking for a Communications Specialist to join a forward-thinking organization in the aerospace and high-tech sector. This 6-month maternity cover role starts in September 2026 and offers the chance to work on impactful projects in a dynamic, international environment.

Your Role
As Communications Specialist, you'll manage a variety of internal and external communication initiatives. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across departments and contribute to both strategic planning and hands-on execution.

Key responsibilities include:

Product Launch Communications: Plan and deliver two launch events for a new production line, including concept development, stakeholder coordination, and content creation.
Website Integration: Support the transition of the local website into the global corporate platform.
Social Media Management: Maintain the content calendar, create posts for leadership and corporate channels, and coordinate with internal and external contributors.
Event Coordination: Organize the company's presence at a major defense and security exhibition.
Partnership Activation: Support the communication strategy for a key partnership with a major space symposium.
Internal Change Communication: Develop and implement communication plans to support an internal transformation initiative.

What You Bring
Native Dutch speaker with fluent English (written and spoken).
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization.
Analytical mindset with a solution-oriented approach.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.

Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communication, Journalism, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in internal and/or external communications.
Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
