Position Title: Receptionist
Location: Downtown Austin
Assignment Type: Contract (6 months)
Compensation: $20 - $23 per / hour
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Job Description:
Our client in is seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist. This role is the first point of contact for all office visitors and serves as a central support resource for the broader team. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and comfortable managing both administrative tasks and facilities coordination in a corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and create a welcoming front office presence
- Manage the guest check-in process and notify appropriate internal contacts
- Coordinate visitor access with building security
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the reception area
- Order and manage office supply inventory
- Assist with meeting and event set-up, including placing catering orders and ensuring smooth logistics
- Receive and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Support the Facilities Manager in scheduling and office initiatives
- Handle ad hoc administrative tasks and assist with special projects as needed
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or office coordinator role
- At least 3 years of customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Professional demeanor with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods
