Title: Accounts Receivable Analyst

Location: Aurora, Illinois (Hybrid)

Assignment Type: 3- month contract with potential for contract-to-hire

Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 / Hourly depending on relevant experience

Job Responsibilities:

Monitor accounts receivable to identify overdue accounts and follow up with customers regarding payment status.
Contact customers via phone, email, or written correspondence to collect outstanding balances.
Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, short payments, and disputes in a timely manner.
Collaborate with sales, billing, and customer service teams to address issues impacting collections.
Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and customer communications.
Prepare and analyze aging reports to track collection efforts and trends.
Recommend accounts for escalation, legal action, or write-off as appropriate.
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws governing debt collection.
Assist in developing and implementing strategies to improve cash flow and reduce bad debt.

Requirements:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP's, SUM-IFS)
2+ years of experience in collections/accounts receivable,
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
