We're working with welcoming primary schools across Lewisham looking for calm, compassionate support staff to work with children who need a little extra help-emotionally, socially, or academically.
What you'll be doing:
Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups
Helping children with additional needs feel safe and engaged
Using your understanding of behaviour, communication and wellbeing
Building confidence and positive routines for pupils who need it most
Working closely with SENCOs, teachers, and pastoral teams
This could suit you if:
You're studying or have a degree in Psychology (or related field)
You're patient, empathetic and genuinely enjoy working with children
You're curious about SEND, mental health, or educational psychology
You want paid, practical experience in school settings before your next step
You're free at least 3-5 days a week during term time
