Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer 5 to join their team. As a Hardware Design Engineer 5, you will be part of the engineering department supporting the development of next-generation AI hardware. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for innovation, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Hardware Design Engineer 5
Location: Austin, TX and Mountain View, CA
Duration: 18 Month Contract

Pay Range:

What's the Job?

Design and implement RTL for image and video processing IP blocks.
Collaborate with architecture and verification teams to define specifications and test plans.
Perform front-end synthesis and analyze timing results.
Conduct CDC (Clock Domain Crossing) and lint checks to ensure design quality.
Debug and resolve issues in RTL and simulation environments.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (Master's preferred).
10+ years of experience in digital hardware design, with at least 8 years in complex RTL design using SystemVerilog.
Experience in design verification and debugging, including RTL quality checks (CDC, lint).
Strong understanding of floating-point arithmetic in RTL.
Hands-on experience with industry-standard simulation and analysis tools.
