1st Line IT Support Analyst
Location: Brixworth (Onsite)
Duration: 3 months
Rate: £150 per day (Umbrella)

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused 1st Line IT Support Analyst to join an established IT support function on an initial 3-month contract.
This position is ideal for someone with 1-3 years' experience in a Service Desk or IT support environment, looking to further develop their skills within a Microsoft-focused technology estate.
As the first point of contact for IT-related issues, you will play a key role in ensuring a high level of service delivery by providing efficient, professional, and user-friendly technical support across the organisation. The role will involve both remote and onsite support, working closely with internal teams to resolve incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.

Required Experience

Essential Requirements

  • 1-3 years' experience in a 1st Line Support, Service Desk, or Helpdesk role
  • Strong experience supporting Microsoft technologies, including:
    • Windows 10/11
    • Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint)
    • Active Directory (user administration, password resets)
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware issues across laptops and desktops
  • Understanding of basic networking principles
  • Experience working with ticketing systems and managing incidents through to resolution
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple requests effectively
Desirable Requirements
  • Exposure to Azure AD/Entra ID
  • Experience with Intune or endpoint management tools
