What you'll do

• Develop, maintain and publish data models, data dictionaries and metadata in line with data architecture, governance and organisational standards.
• Work with business stakeholders, SMEs and analysts to gather requirements, understand data relationships and translate business needs into effective data models.
• Analyse data and change requirements, assessing impacts and effort while ensuring solutions meet business and technical needs.
• Lead workshops and collaborate across teams to support solution design, data analysis and integration with enterprise and third-party systems.
• Review, enhance and approve data models, ensuring consistency across existing models, architectures and related documentation.
• Promote data modelling best practice and support Agile delivery through effective communication, stakeholder engagement and ownership of assigned tasks.

What you bring

• 3+ years' experience in data modelling or a related discipline, with a degree or equivalent qualification in IT, Computing or a similar field.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining enterprise data models, with a strong understanding of data structures, relationships, data flows and data mapping.
• Experience analysing Legacy systems, particularly SQL Server, including complex data joins and supporting migration or transformation projects.
• Strong SQL skills, with exposure to modern data platforms such as Databricks highly desirable.
• Experience with metadata, data dictionaries, governance and enterprise architecture standards, ideally within Agile or Scrum environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical and communication skills, with experience working across business and technical teams, external systems and an understanding of IT security.
