Data / Software Engineer (Contract)
Location: Kansas City, MO Denver, CO Oklahoma City, OK Omaha, NE (On-site with limited remote flexibility)
Duration: 12-month contract (extension potential)

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support analytics and research initiatives
- Collect, clean, and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy and usability
- Develop and optimize ELT/ETL processes for data integration and transformation
- Perform data analysis and support the creation of dashboards and reporting solutions
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance through testing and validation practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and technical requirements into solutions
- Contribute to the design and implementation of large-scale data and software systems
- Document processes, standards, and technical solutions for ongoing improvement
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent experience
- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
- Experience building and maintaining data warehouse solutions
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
