Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in Chester, VT to bring on a Maintenance Technician. This is a full-time, direct hire or temp-to-hire opportunity depending on experience.
Position: Maintenance Technician
Shift: 1st Shift (with occasional off-shift or weekend support as needed)
Pay: $24.00 - $32.00/hour (depending on experience)

Summary:We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support equipment reliability and facility operations within a food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to ensure minimal downtime.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production disruptions
- Assist with installation and setup of new equipment
- Maintain maintenance logs and documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety and food manufacturing standards
- Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
- Experience in food manufacturing or GMP environments preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
