MRK Talent Solutions are proud to be exclusively partnering with a private equity backed multi-division business in the search for an Interim Finance Transformation Lead to join them on an ongoing assignment based on the Surrey/Berkshire border. This role is paying up to £600 per day with a hybrid working pattern of three days a week in the office.
This job would suit an experienced ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified finance professional to be responsible for delivering operational efficiencies, central cost improvements and profitability enhancement initiatives across the group. Working closely with senior leadership, the role will focus on improving commercial performance, enhancing financial visibility and supporting strategic decision making across multiple divisions. This is not a systems implementation or automation-led transformation role, but instead a commercially focused opportunity centred around profitability, operational improvement and financial performance.
Our client is a well-established, private equity backed business with revenues of approximately £300m and operations across multiple divisions throughout the UK. Following recent investment and changes within the senior leadership team, the business is entering an exciting new phase focused on driving operational efficiency, improving profitability and strengthening commercial performance across the group.
The successful individual will be a qualified accountant with previous transformation, change or cost saving project experience within operationally led businesses. Previous exposure to construction, facilities management, support services, hospitality or retail environments would be highly advantageous. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment, partnering with senior stakeholders and challenging existing processes to improve performance.
Responsibilities include:
• Identify and deliver central cost saving and operational efficiency initiatives across multiple business divisions.
• Conduct detailed product, customer and margin analysis to identify opportunities to improve profitability and commercial performance.
• Partner closely with senior leadership teams to support strategic decision making and improve financial visibility.
• Review existing financial and operational processes to identify areas for improvement and standardisation.
• Develop financial models and analysis to support commercial decision making and business planning.
• Support the delivery of profitability improvement initiatives across operationally led business units.
• Provide meaningful analysis and insights around business performance, risks and opportunities.
• Work cross-functionally with operational and finance teams to embed improvements and drive accountability.
