Full Stack Azure/DevOps AI Engineer - Contract

3-6 Month Initial Contract
Hybrid with some remote working and occasional travel to Berkshire

We are currently looking for Full Stack AI Engineers (Azure/DevOps) to join a high-impact programme focused on scaling AI-powered platforms into enterprise-grade solutions.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge document intelligence and data-driven AI systems, helping transform proven concepts into secure, scalable products used in real-world environments.

The Role

The Full Stack AI Engineers (Azure/DevOps) will play a key role in taking existing AI proof-of-concepts and turning them into robust, production-ready platforms, working across the full stack in a fast-paced agile setting.

Key responsibilities include:

• Enhancing and scaling AI-driven platforms built on Microsoft Azure
• Building Back End services, APIs, and modern Front End interfaces
• Developing AI document processing pipelines to extract and structure data
• Implementing secure, scalable deployment pipelines and cloud architectures
• Contributing to high-velocity agile delivery, working from evolving requirements
• Operating within an AI-assisted development environment

What We're Looking For

• Full stack engineering background (Front End + Back End)
• Solid experience across the Microsoft Azure ecosystem
• Proven track record delivering production-grade systems (not just POCs)
• Hands-on experience with:
• AI pipelines/document intelligence/OCR/data extraction
• APIs, microservices, and scalable architectures
• CI/CD, DevOps, and secure deployment practices
• Comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
• A builder mindset - someone who enjoys turning ideas into real, working systems

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure AI or similar AI platforms
• Background in data modelling, analytics, or risk modelling
• Previous involvement in AI platform scale-up or digital transformation programmes
• Prior desirable experience:
• Taking AI POCs into production
• Working in asset-heavy/data-heavy industries
