This is an exciting opportunity to join the Group Secretariat & Corporate Governance team as an Assistant Company Secretary, supporting the effective governance of the Bank. You will work closely with the Deputy Group Company Secretary to deliver trusted advice and high quality secretariat support to Board Committees. This role offers strong exposure to senior stakeholders and a chance to deepen your experience in corporate governance within a complex, regulated environment while contributing to meaningful, organisation-wide decision making.
In this role, you will:You bring experience operating at Board or Executive level, with confidence, sound judgement and the ability to provide constructive challenge. You are comfortable navigating complex governance environments and can interpret regulatory requirements in a practical way.
You communicate clearly and build trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders and Non Executive Directors. You are highly organised and can manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
You also have strong analytical skills, enabling you to distil complex discussions into clear, concise outputs that support effective decision-making. A proactive and thoughtful approach will help you identify opportunities to improve governance processes and contribute to wider team goals.
Essential qualificationsRelevant third level qualification, ideally ICSA or relevant legal or business qualification.
More about the teamThe Group Secretariat & Corporate Governance team provides company secretarial, compliance and advisory services across the Bank. The team plays a central role in enabling effective governance through the Board of Directors, Board Committees and Subsidiary Boards.
This is a hybrid role, based primarily at Baggot Plaza, Dublin 4. We typically ask colleagues to spend a minimum of 8 days per month working in person to support collaboration and connection. Specific arrangements will be confirmed by your recruiter to ensure they meet the needs of the role and team.
