Laptop Break Fix Hardware Technician

We are looking for a Laptop Break Fix Hardware Technician in Miami, Florida, to assist with laptop keyboard installations. - Hourly Rate: $22+ per hour, based on experience - Project Dates: 6/01/26 - 6/26/26 - Duration: 4 weeks with a possible extension - Shift: Mon - Fri, Full-time during normal business hours (No Weekends) Job Scope: The technician will be responsible for replacing current English language keyboards with new Spanish language keyboards in laptops. The models include Dell Pro 14 Plus and Dell Pro Max 16 Premium, totaling 1336 units. Principal Tasks: - Unpack and inspect all hardware before installation - Unplug all power cords and power off the device - Remove the bottom case and all components to access the keyboard, including the battery, motherboard, fans, and hard drive - Remove the old keyboard by disconnecting the cables and removing screws - Install the new keyboard by connecting the ribbon cable, securing the keyboard, and reassembling - Test and verify functionality before fully closing Qualifications: - 3-5+ years of experience with servicing and break fixing laptop equipment, peripherals, and managing data, including software installation, imaging, data migration, and troubleshooting - Strong communication and data reporting skills - Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and comprehend technical scripts - A+ Certification or equivalent work experience Candidates will need to complete onboarding requirements once selected, which will include compliance processing.
