In this role, you will:
Prior experience in Leveraged finance, general corporate lending or cash flow based credit analysis in an origination or portfolio management roles.
Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills consistent with operating in an international business environment.
Ability to be decisive, and quickly articulate business strategy, lending perspectives and proposals to Credit as well as in dealing with business owners and borrowers.
Capacity to build alliances and relationships, with internal and external partners.
Capability to work independently and contribute as part of a team.
Highly organised with strong analytical skills.
While not crucial to apply the following would be a strong bonus!
Financial and commercial experience along with personal credibility both internally and externally.
Strong business and commercial savvy with financial literacy/detailed knowledge of financial markets.
Strong track record in corporate banking client/portfolio relationship management, credit management and sales/business development with proven experience in lending with exposure to numerous sectors.
Clear knowledge of the Corporate Banking market in Europe.

More about the teamLeveraged Finance is a key business unit within the Specialist Banking unit of the Corporate & Commercial Banking division, with offices in Dublin, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Madrid, Stamford and Chicago. Its directive is to originate, structure and arrange acquisition debt facilities in support of key private equity clients with assets sourced across the UK, European and US leveraged loan markets.
This is a hybrid role, based primarily at Baggot Plaza, Dublin 4. We typically ask colleagues to spend a minimum of 8 days per month working in-person to support teamwork and connection. Specific arrangements will be confirmed by your recruiter to ensure they meet the needs of the role and team.
