Revive City Church Job Type: Full-time, Permanent No. of vacancies: 1 Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible Business address & Work location: 7200 Cariboo Rd Burnaby, B.C V3N 4A7 Wage rate: $31.00 per hour, 30-40 hours a week, overtime will start after 40 hours per week Job Duties: Conduct regular religious worship services and lead the congregation in prayer and spiritual activities. Prepare and deliver sermons and biblical teachings to promote spiritual growth and Christian faith. Provide spiritual counselling, pastoral care, and moral guidance to church members and attendees. Administer religious rites and ceremonies, including baptisms, communion, weddings, funerals, dedications, and other pastoral services. Plan, organize, and oversee religious education programs, Bible studies, discipleship classes, and ministry activities for various age groups. Support and supervise ministry leaders, volunteers, and church workers in the delivery of church programs and outreach activities. Visit members of the congregation and community during times of illness, crisis, bereavement, or other personal need. Lead evangelistic, outreach, and community service initiatives to support the churchs mission and ministry objectives. Participate in charitable, humanitarian, and social support activities carried out by the church. Assist with the administration and day-to-day operations of the church, including program planning, scheduling, and coordination of ministry services. Work with church leadership to develop ministry goals, strengthen congregational life, and support the overall spiritual direction of the church. Represent the church in the community and provide faith-based guidance and consultation to individuals and organizations as required. Eligibility: Completion of a college or university program in theology, divinity, religious studies, or a related field is required. A Master of Divinity, Master of Theology, or equivalent theological training is an asset. Completion of a period of supervised ministerial training, mentorship, internship, or study under a senior minister is required. 2 + years of experience in preaching, pastoral care, discipleship, and church ministry is required. Ability to lead worship services, provide spiritual counselling, and oversee ministry programs is required.
