We're currently seeking an organised and detail-focused Payroll Administrator to join a busy finance team on a short-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience within a fast-paced payroll function, supporting the accurate and timely delivery of weekly and monthly payrolls.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting with the processing of weekly and monthly payrolls
- Collating and inputting payroll data including new starters, leavers and contractual changes
- Setting up new employees on the payroll system, including weekly paid individuals
- Processing payroll adjustments such as allowances, deductions and benefits
- Supporting Senior Payroll Officers with day-to-day payroll administration tasks
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring payroll data is up to date
Key requirements:
- Previous administrative experience, ideally within payroll or finance
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn new systems
