Job Overview

The Jack & Jill Foundation has opened a new charity boutique in Ennis. The shop raises funds to support in home nursing care and respite for families caring for children up to the age of seven, including those with brain injury, genetic diagnoses, cerebral palsy, undiagnosed conditions and end of life care.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Display stock well and keep the shop floor clean and tidy.
• Manage the cash register and handle money accurately.
• Steam and tag items before display.
• Follow all shop policies and procedures.
• Maintain shop and stockroom cleanliness in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Assist with receipt and sorting of donations to ensure items are suitable for sale.
• Work as part of a team and be fully supported by management.

Schedule

Volunteers are required Tuesday to Saturday, 10 00. Each shift is 3 hours.

Requirements

• Willingness to commit for a minimum of 3 months.
• Ability to work unsupervised, calm, confident, and honest.
• Interest in working with people from diverse social and economic backgrounds.
• Strong confidentiality skills.
• Fluent English required.
• Over 18 years of age.
