SC Cleared ECM Consultant - £500/day - via umbrella - 6-month Contract - Remote - SCC Flex Contract

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Engineer (ECM/Document Management) to join our Services department on a high-profile contract engagement. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Solutions Engineer to lead complex ECM implementations, work directly with enterprise customers, and play a key role in delivering innovative, business-critical solutions.

Your responsibilities as the ECM Consultant:

• Lead and deliver enterprise-scale ECM projects from design through to implementation and deployment.
• Work directly with customers to gather, analyse and challenge project requirements.
• Lead customer workshops, requirements-gathering sessions and solution design discussions, providing expert guidance on business process improvement.
• Design and implement ECM solutions using out-of-the-box functionality, custom Scripting and custom utilities where required.
• Act as lead engineer on SCC's largest projects, coordinating and mentoring multiple Solutions Engineers.
• Estimate, assess and allocate design and implementation tasks across project teams based on skills and availability.
• Install, configure and license software for enterprise-level, multi-domain ECM implementations.
• Provide weekly status updates, demonstrations and clear communication on risks, issues and mitigation plans.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation, including system documentation, end-user guides and test plans.
• Act as an escalation point for complex technical challenges, keeping customers, stakeholders and executives informed.
• Support customers through testing, go-live and post-deployment phases with troubleshooting, training and guidance.

As a successful ECM Consultant you will have:

• A minimum of five years' relevant experience delivering ECM/Document Management solutions.
• Active SC Clearance
• Proven experience leading complex, enterprise-scale ECM implementations.
• Strong ability to work independently, take initiative and manage competing priorities.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in complex customer environments.
• Demonstrable mentoring and leadership capability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
