As Senior IT Risk & Compliance Manager, you'll play a key role in strengthening how Bank of Ireland manages technology and information security risk across the Group. Working within Enterprise Services, you'll help ensure our IT run and change activities meet regulatory expectations, support secure and resilient systems, and enable strong technology governance. This is an opportunity to influence decision-making, support regulatory confidence and embed effective risk management practices across a complex, evolving technology environment.
In this role, you will:You have a strong understanding of banking regulation, supervisory expectations and technology risk management in a regulated environment. You can assess and communicate complex IT and security risks clearly, helping senior leaders make informed decisions. You build trusted relationships across technical and non-technical teams and use your influencing skills to embed effective, practical risk practices.
You take a structured and proactive approach to managing risk, balancing regulatory requirements with business delivery needs. Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills will help you succeed in this role.

More about the teamThe Enterprise Services Risk and Compliance team provides first line risk and regulatory support across the Division. The team works closely with business units to promote a consistent and aligned approach to identifying, managing and reporting risk. Through guidance, oversight and collaboration, the team supports colleagues in meeting regulatory expectations while enabling safe and effective delivery of services.
You'll join a team that values partnership, clear communication and continuous improvement in how risk is managed across Enterprise Services.
This is a hybrid role, based primarily at Baggot Plaza, Dublin. We typically ask colleagues to spend a minimum of 8 days per month working in person to support collaboration and connection. Specific arrangements will be confirmed by your recruiter to ensure they meet the needs of the role and team.
