My client is a global leading IT consultancy. They are on the hunt for a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on Back End development, you will play a key role in designing, building, and evolving high-performance, Server Side applications. Your responsibilities will extend beyond coding to include technical leadership, mentoring, and strategic input on technology decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, and enhance robust, scalable Back End systems and services in a modern, cloud-based environment.
- Lead or contribute to technical design discussions, translating business requirements into high-quality solutions.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Guide and collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring best practices in coding, integration, and delivery are followed.
- Own and manage the integration of large-scale components within web application ecosystems
- Play a proactive role in incident and change management, helping to maintain high system reliability and responsiveness.
- Contribute to and influence technical decision-making and process improvements that drive long-term team success
What you'll bring
- Angular - Solid experience with modern Angular frameworks, component architecture, and state management.
- js - Deep understanding of asynchronous programming, API development, and Back End services.
- Azure - Proven experience designing, deploying, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure.
- Terraform - Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly in cloud provisioning and environment automation.
- Jenkins - Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration.
- GIT - Proficient in branching strategies, version control, and collaboration workflows.
- JIRA & Confluence - Comfortable managing work in agile environments and documenting processes clearly and efficiently.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, both technical and non-technical.
- Deep understanding of software development best practices, architectural standards, and design patterns.
- Capable of working independently, taking full ownership of technical challenges from identification to resolution or structured handover.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset, with a focus on delivering robust and scalable solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to foster knowledge sharing across teams.
- Comfortable working in cross-functional, distributed teams, including clients and third-party vendors.
- Experience with incident management, monitoring, and observability tooling.
- Solid understanding of modern deployment pipelines and DevOps principles.
