Job Title: Technical Business Analyst

Location: Dublin - Leopardstown 3 days in office

Contract: 6 months contract initially

Rate: 450 - 500 Euros - inside umbrella

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Technical Business Analyst to support data-driven initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving capabilities, excellent communication skills, and experience working with complex datasets and databases. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical requirements and drive effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications.
• Work with large and complex datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and data teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Perform data analysis using SQL and other tools to support decision-making.
• Support the design and implementation of data processes, controls, and reporting.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration abilities.
• Solid experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Proven data analysis experience, including working with complex datasets.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Experience or exposure to one or more of the following:

• Data governance frameworks
• Data lineage and data controls
• BCBS 239 Risk Data Aggregation principles
• Work management and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Technologies such as MongoDB and/or Python
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
